To support our growth, we’re looking for a Business Development Intern to strengthen our sales team.
At Cantoo, you won’t just be there to sell a solution. You’ll help develop a tool that makes everyday life easier for thousands of students and teachers. You’ll play a key role in our business development and in shaping our strategy.
Your Challenges
You’ll contribute directly to several key objectives:
- Growing Cantoo Scribe’s revenue and user base.
- Raising the brand’s profile among local governments, school districts, and educational institutions.
- Develop and retain a portfolio of B2B prospects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our solution based on feedback from the field.
You’ll work closely with the Sales Director and the Design team to create impactful materials and meet sales needs. You’ll also be supported by our team facilitator, whose role is to streamline processes, foster skill development, and encourage collective intelligence.
Your Responsibilities
Build your portfolio
- Manage a portfolio of prospects and clients.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Organize and conduct demonstrations of Cantoo Scribe.
- Facilitate co-creation meetings with institutions.
- Conduct negotiations through to contract signing.
- Help develop French-speaking business opportunities internationally.
- Represent Cantoo at trade shows and professional events.
- Track your activity and pipeline in HubSpot.
Support the Sales Manager
- Organize follow-ups and schedule appointments.
- Conduct strategic sourcing of new accounts.
- Coordinate communication with the team in charge of experiments.
- Track sales metrics and contribute to reporting.
Manage your projects
- Organize your work methodically.
- Track reverse schedules and meet deadlines.
- Report on the progress of your initiatives and share your results.
The Profile We’re Looking For
You enjoy persuading others, building trusting relationships, and taking on new challenges. You enjoy environments where no two days are alike and where everyone makes a tangible contribution to collective success.
You’ll recognize yourself if…
- You’re comfortable communicating and easily connect with others.
- You’re organized and can handle multiple tasks at once.

- You’re proficient with a CRM like HubSpot.
- You have an intermediate level of English or higher (this is a real plus)
Your Background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business development, business, or partnerships.
- Experience at an SME, microbusiness, or startup is particularly desirable.
- You’re versatile and have a strong customer-service orientation.
