The Position
Amid strong growth and product development, Welleat is hiring a UI/UX Designer to strengthen its Product team.
Reporting to the Lead UI/UX Designer, you will be involved in the design and evolution of Welleat’s interfaces in a demanding, field-oriented environment. You will work on web, mobile, tablet, and application interfaces, as well as print and markup materials, in close collaboration with the Product, Tech, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design and Design System
- Design clear, consistent, and user-centered UI/UX interfaces
- Contribute to the creation, structuring, and evolution of the Design System
- Ensure visual and functional consistency across all platforms
- Translate business and user needs into effective and intuitive user flows
User experience and real-world context
- Adopt a UX approach based on user empathy
- Understanding operational constraints and real-world usage contexts
- Designing simple, accessible interfaces tailored to demanding environments
- Continuously test, iterate, and improve user journeys
Graphic design and visual materials
- Produce mockups, prototypes, and UI deliverables
- Design print materials, signage, and wayfinding
- Maintain high graphic standards, even under tight deadlines
Working under pressure and collaborating
- Work effectively under time constraints
- Managing multiple tasks simultaneously and setting priorities
- Collaborating closely with the Lead UI/UX Designer and internal teams
Desired Qualifications
Skills and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in UI/UX Design or Product Design
- Hands-on experience designing Design Systems
- Excellent proficiency in Figma
- Good proficiency in Illustrator and InDesign
- Solid understanding of UI/UX (responsive design, accessibility, information hierarchy)

- Creativity focused on usability and effectiveness
- Ability to deliver quickly without compromising quality
- Comfortable working in demanding and rapidly changing environments
Portfolio required
A portfolio is required to apply.
It must concretely demonstrate:
- UI and UX skills,
- the ability to structure interfaces and design systems,
- an understanding of real-world use cases and constraints,
- and a high standard of graphic and functional design.
Skills and the quality of your work take precedence over academic background or job titles.
Recruitment Process
The recruitment process consists of several steps, including a skills test.
- A UI/UX test will be required, including:
- an exercise on Figma (interface / UX logic),
- a print (markup, media, or layout).
- The test must be completed within a intentionally tight timeframe, in order to assess the ability to work under time pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- The Lead UI/UX Designer will be fully available throughout the test to answer questions, clarify the brief, and help the candidate understand the context.
The purpose of this test is to evaluate actual skills, methodology, prioritization ability, and the quality of execution.
