En Europe, près de 200 000 entreprises sont concernées, dont 99,7 % sont des PME. Or, les données nécessaires sont aujourd’hui fragmentées entre les différents acteurs et outils de la chaîne de valeur. La traçabilité est souvent reconstruite a posteriori, alors que les informations ont été dispersées tout au long du développement produit et de la production.
