Background and Issue The textile industry faces a twofold challenge: reducing its environmental impact while meeting growing demands for transparency and traceability. With the ESPR regulation and the Digital Product Passport (DPP), companies will be required to provide reliable, traceable, and interoperable product data. The delegated acts applicable to textiles are expected in 2027. In Europe, nearly 200,000 companies are affected, 99.7% of which are SMEs. However, the necessary data is currently fragmented across the various stakeholders and tools in the value chain. Traceability is often reconstructed after the fact, even though the information has been scattered throughout the product development and production processes. The Climata Solution Climata is a collaborative, compliance-native platform designed for the textile industry.
