26 regional cyber innovation structures and the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus highlighted at the Hauts-de-France pavilion of the International Forum InCyber 2024 at Lille Grand Palais.

The Hauts-de-France Region and the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus are back at Lille Grand Palais for the 16th INCYBER Forum (FIC)

The reference event in Europe on the challenges of security and digital trust. This new edition dedicated to the theme "Ready for AI?" is an opportunity for the region's cybersecurity sector to demonstrate its innovation and attractiveness.

This year again, the Hauts-de-France Region and the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus present one of the largest pavilions of the Forum, covering 200m². This space, which embodies the epicenter of regional innovation, will host 26 regional cyber gems among companies, startups, higher education institutions, and professional associations from the regional ecosystem. Among them are promising names such as Dynatrust, Hamynä, and Gloomy Clouds, with 6 participating in the FIC for the first time, marking an important step in their development:

  • Startups: Dynatrust, Hamynä, Gloomy Clouds, Nestor, Open CVE, Sienna Data Archiving Solutions
  • SMEs - Digital service companies: Allistic, Aquastar Consulting, Aramys, Exer, Ipcarcus, Lupise, OverSOC, Prizm, Roxys, Sec-Cure, Scalair, Sésame Expertises, Skillx
  • Higher education: Epitech, University of Lille, University of Picardy (EIJV), IMT Nord Europe
  • Professional organizations and associations: Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus, CITC, CSIRT Hauts-de-France, Clusir Nord de France.

The first anniversary of the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus is approaching

POperated by EuraTechnologies, initiated and funded by the Hauts-de-France Region and the European Metropolis of Lille, and supported by the European FEDER funds, the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus was the first to be labeled by the national Cyber Campus. It was inaugurated on the sidelines of FIC 2023. Like other future regional campuses, the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus is structured around four missions: operate, innovate, train, and mobilize.

At the heart of a region at the forefront of digital security and trust issues, the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus today represents a central pivot of innovation and excellence in cybersecurity. Designed as an integrated ecosystem, this campus represents a unique platform for businesses, communities, startups, higher education institutions, and research organizations dedicated to digital security.

One of its main assets is the CyberRange, a cutting-edge facility that offers businesses and training centers a real virtual training and testing ground. Very concretely, it allows business and community leaders to simulate cyber crisis management but also allows experts to increase their technical skills. This is a decisive competitive advantage for learning to anticipate future attacks and for fostering the emergence of the talents and champions of tomorrow that the territory needs.

During its first year, the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus supported 15 startups, making it one of the first incubators and accelerators in France. It also organized no less than 20 events gathering more than 600 people on the theme of cybersecurity. In almost one year of existence, the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus has mobilized the ecosystem and currently has 35 members. About the Hauts-de-France Region

At the forefront of the issue, Hauts-de-France is a major player in Northern Europe in the field of cybersecurity. Specific support (awareness, audit, advice, training, financing, and incident response) is developed to equip businesses and communities to deal with online crime. With 95 specialized companies, 36 dedicated training programs, and 10 research centers, the cybersecurity sector represents 6,500 jobs. Hosting the FIC since 2007, the establishment of the first labeled territorial cyber campus, as well as the presence of one of the largest cyber incubators in France, affirm Hauts-de-France's European leadership as the definitively "Land of Cybersecurity".

The Hauts-de-France Region is committed to cybersecurity

The regional CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) is an incident response center benefiting entities located within the regional territory. They handle assistance requests from mid-sized actors (e.g., SMEs, mid-cap companies, local authorities, and associations) to connect them with local partners: incident response providers and state partners.

About the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus

Since 2022, the Hauts-de-France Lille Métropole Cyber Campus has been operated by EuraTechnologies and is supported by the Hauts-de-France Region, the European Metropolis of Lille, and the European Union through the FEDER funds. It is the first territorial campus labeled by the national Cyber Campus, on the occasion of FIC 2022. Its four missions are: operate, innovate, train, and mobilize.
